Reyes Re-ups with Leon

Leon fans celebrated as word of a signing became reality. Al Reyes won't be pulling up stakes anytime soon, as he has signed a 7-year extension at a pay rate of $12,857,142 per annum.
Since he is widely seen as an integral part of the club, Leon officials had to keep Reyes from jumping ship.
This season, in 38 relief appearances, Reyes has rung up 23 saves. He has 54 strikeouts and 16 walks in 47 innings while registering a 1.53 ERA and a 3-5 won-lost record. Opposing teams have hit .150 against him.

The standout Hitters first baseman posted a .348 average to capture the batting crown.
Hernandez went to the plate 394 times and collected 137 hits, including 24 doubles, 3 triples and 25 home runs. This season's batting leader also drove in 70 runs, scored 84 times and played in 106 games.

The 22-year-old shortstop hit .346 for the Boston Kings over a span of 102 games with 26 doubles, 4 triples and 23 home runs among his 132 hits. Ramirez drove in 71 runs and scored 73 times.
