The Math Says - Newtown, El Dorado County Out of Playoffs

They put up a valiant effort, but the Newtown, El Dorado County Hawks didn't have what it takes to make the FBL Class A playoffs in 2047. The club was officially eliminated from postseason qualification today.
"Sucks," said Hawks reliever Jamel Lapierre.
The Hawks also missed the playoffs last year.

Ambush Win Sub League 1 West Division Crown
Wednesday, July 31st , 2047
The Fargo Ambush clubhouse more closely resembled a college party tonight as the team officially captured the Sub League 1 West Division.
It was a raucous atmosphere as players and coaches alike celebrated the accomplishment.
"It's not often you get to kick back and let loose with your teammates," said starting pitcher Mike Woodring. "We've earned the right to party a little bit. And then we can focus on getting it done in the playoffs."
The team's manager said even the coaching staff can enjoy occasions like this.
"I'm proud of my guys, they deserve this," he said.
It's the 4th division championship for the team, and they will be seeking their 2nd FBL Class A championship.

It's Official: Albany Clinches Playoff Spot
Wednesday, July 31st , 2047
Albany Jokers players hooted and hollered with excitement today when the club made it official - they've secured a playoff spot.
The
Sub League 1 Central Division title is not yet secured, but the club will be going to the postseason regardless, on the strength of their current 61-40 record.
"Proud of the guys, proud of our effort," said closer Adam Rogers. "These guys are hungry to bring the 2nd World Series to our franchise."
