Bisons Heading to Round 3

Tulsa College catcher Ramon Munoz couldn't hide his reaction when asked about being named MVP of the Round 2.
"It's a nice honor," he said, failing to suppress a wide smile. The trophy was presented to Munoz moments after his club eliminated the San Miguelito College Thunder Cats to advance to the Round 3.
Tulsa College won the final game by a score of 16-7 at Thunder Cats Grounds and took the series 4-2.
"We won the series and that's the main thing," Munoz said. "They were a tough team and we didn't want to take anything for granted."
For the series, Munoz hit .444 with a .531 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 16 RBI and scored 8 runs.
"He was tough to stop and that's a big reason they're there and we're here," said a dejected San Miguelito College manager .
The Tulsa College Bisons will play against the Port-au-Prince College Arsenal in the next round. Port-au-Prince College won their series against the Carrefour College Sabercats 4 games to 1. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes.

Arsenal Advance to Round 3

The Port-au-Prince College Arsenal clubhouse was filled with glee and celebration tonight, while the Carrefour College Sabercats room was filled with despair and sadness after the Round 2 concluded.
"Someone's got to win and someone's got to lose, we're just glad we're on the good end of it tonight and can enjoy this," said Malo Le Berre, who was named MVP for a strong series of offensive performance.
Port-au-Prince College won the final game by a 7-3 count at Sabercats Park and the series 4-1.
Carrefour College manager was simple and to-the-point in his assessment of the series.
"They were the better team and deserve to move on," he said.
For the series, Le Berre hit .636 with a .636 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 9 RBI and scored 8 runs.
The Port-au-Prince College Arsenal don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the San Miguelito College Thunder Cats - Tulsa College Bisons series. Tulsa College leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes.
