Davila Claims HR Challenge Title Sunday, June 16th , 2052 The highly anticipated 2052 Home Run Challenge took place today at Honkers Field with eight of the top home run hitters in FBL Class A taking part. Carlos Davila gave the fans what they wanted with a memorable power display to capture the crown. The Cheyenne Honkers catcher hoisted the trophy after topping Robert Silva in the final round by a score of 10-8. "Having my dad pitch to me in a Home Run Challenge is something I'll always remember," said Davila. "It's going to be hard to top this feeling." Davila's career batting average is .245. In 248 games, he has gotten 203 hits, 53 home runs, 158 RBIs and scored 114 runs. |
