5-for-5 Day for Beard Saturday, June 15th , 2052 Craig Beard was on fire, sparking his club to a win, 3-2, over the Gooners. The Bell Center second baseman was a tough out and went 5-for-5 against Guadalajara in a fine hitting display. "I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody and some days they fall in." Craig Beard doubled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Emilio Rivera in the 8th and singled in the 10th.
