Desperados Not Competitive in 7-0 Loss to Caguas Friday, June 14th , 2052 Caguas hurler Jesus Morales put on quite a show, as he blitzed the Black Fork Desperados with a 7-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 1 hit with 9 strikeouts and 1 walk to pick up the win. "I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball," Black Fork manager told reporters after the game. To date this season, Morales sports a 7-4 mark with a 4.88 ERA in 13 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .274 batting average and has 52 strikeouts in 72 innings. |
