Adame Tags Riverhawks for 5 Hits Sunday, May 9th , 2055 It was a high-five day for Jeremy Adame, at least for a while. The Workmore left fielder got plenty of them from his teammates when he reached the five-hit milestone during today's game against the Edmonton Riverhawks, but they were in short supply at the end, as Edmonton won the game, 7-5. Adame finished with an impressive 5-for-7 line, but the Horned Frogs couldn't hold off the Riverhawks. "Jeremy was hitting everything," said Horned Frogs manager . "It's too bad the other guys couldn't rise to the occasion." Jeremy Adame grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 8th, hit an RBI single in the 9th and grounded out in the 11th. So far this year in 25 games, Adame is hitting .371 with 9 home runs, 19 RBIs and 17 runs scored. |
