Chamberland Whacks 3 Out of the Park for Portland

Every now and then, everything just comes together.
Rusty Chamberland discovered that today at Ballpark of Portland, as he smashed three home runs during the 14-2 Portland Bruins win over the Edmonton Riverhawks.
"I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Portland catcher said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it."
Chamberland finished the day with 4 hits in 5 at-bats and 9 RBIs.
Rusty Chamberland singled in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Tony Montes in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Danny Zavaleta in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Chris Adams in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.
For the season, Chamberland is currently batting .238 with 4 home runs and 25 RBIs. In 39 games he has reached base at a .292 rate and scored 11 runs to date.
