Impressive Show by Gibson in 2052 HR Challenge Sunday, June 16th , 2052 Each year, one slugger is crowned the champion of the Home Run Challenge. This time, it was David Gibson. He out-hit the competition at Red Foxes Stadium to win the event. The Tucson Red Foxes left fielder out-swung Quincy DeLoach in the final round, 11-10. "There are no slouches in this contest," said Gibson. "To win it, you have to earn it." His career numbers show Gibson is currently carrying a .255 lifetime batting average with 39 home runs and 101 RBIs. |
