Gryphons Weatherspoon Named SL2's #1 Player Monday, July 29th , 2047 It was some kind of week for Jalen Weatherspoon of the Moose Jaw Gryphons. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .480 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the Sub League 2. Last week Weatherspoon went 12-for-25, chalked up 1 home run and 6 RBIs and scored 8 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. Weatherspoon currently has a .300 batting average with 101 hits, 9 homers, 46 RBIs, 61 runs scored and a .351 OBP. |
