Long Beach Headed to the Postseason Saturday, July 27th , 2047 There's an excitement surrounding Long Beach baseball tonight, as the Blue Devils have qualified for the playoffs. "We're proud to be a part of a Long Beach Blue Devils franchise heading to the postseason and trying to bring a championship back to the city," said left fielder Jim Littlefield. "All our guys have battled all year to get us to this spot." The division title remains in question, but the team's 57-41 record has led to a guaranteed postseason spot. |
