Sosa Goes 5-for-5 Against Omaha Wednesday, April 20th , 2050 It was a big day for Victor Sosa and he brought the Long Island River Otters along for the ride. Sosa led his club to victory, 11-10, over the Omaha Buffaloes at Belona Stadium, smoking Omaha pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The 25-year-old catcher later called the victory "sweet." Victor Sosa singled in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run double in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Byron Sparks in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 10th. At present, Sosa is batting .382 and has collected 2 home runs, 11 RBIs, .417 OBP and scored 6 runs. |
