Brown Hit Streak Reaches 25 Games Sunday, April 17th , 2050 Peter Brown of the Oklahoma City College Blue Claws tagged 2 hits in today's 5-3 loss to the Zapopan College Golden Panthers at Golden Panthers Park to run his hitting streak to 25 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 25-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Peter Brown flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Melvin Diaz in the 6th, walked in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. Currently Brown is batting .342 with 16 home runs, 36 RBIs and 33 runs scored. |
