SL1 Star of the Week Picked Monday, April 11th , 2050 The Player of the Week has been chosen by the Conference 1. The award went to Jorge Hernandez, center fielder of the Camagüey College Bluebirds. In a sensational hitting performance, he wrecked league pitchers with a .500 average to win the honor. Hernandez went 10-for-20 for the week, totaled 4 home runs and 9 RBIs and scored 7 times. This year, Hernandez is hitting .350, produced 29 RBIs and 15 home runs, scored 39 times and gotten on base at a .461 rate. |
