Brown Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games Sunday, April 10th , 2050 The hitting streak for Oklahoma City College first baseman Peter Brown now stands at 20 games, but the Blue Claws dropped today's contest 16-10 to the Panama College Flyers. Brown went 1-for-5 in the game. "Things went well for me personally," he said. "I got 1 hit and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Peter Brown hit a two-run home run off Amos Semon in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and grounded out in the 7th. This season, Brown has 14 home runs and a .341 batting average. |
