Nino Boosts Hit Streak to 25 Games Sunday, April 24th , 2050 Tony Nino's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 1-for-5 in his team's 19-1 triumph over the El Paso College Avengers at Avengers Park. The 20-year-old first baseman has now hit safely in 25 consecutive games for the Spurs. Tony Nino struck out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Alex Rodriguez in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. In the 2050 season Nino is hitting .399 with 21 home runs. |
