Braves Chinn Sizzles with Cycle Thursday, April 21st , 2050 Adam Chinn hit for the cycle and paced the New York College Braves to a win, 12-9, against the Port-au-Prince College Arsenal at Arsenal Field. The Braves shortstop led the way for his club with 4 hits in 5 at-bats -- 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run -- along with 5 RBI and 1 run. "Now that I know what Adam is capable of, I'm going to expect it more often," New York College manager joked with reporters after the game. Adam Chinn hit a two-run triple in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Fabien Patin in the 7th, walked in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th. Batting .344 to date, Chinn has 10 home runs and 41 RBIs. |
