Nieves Belts 5 Hits Thursday, April 14th , 2050 Jordan Nieves said "it felt like taking batting practice" at River Sharks Park, and it showed in the box score. The Chihuahua HS center fielder had a fantastic 5-for-5 day against the Ecatepec HS River Sharks, leading his club to victory, 7-3. "I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Nieves said later." Jordan Nieves singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. Thus far this season in 36 games, Nieves is batting .420 with 13 home runs, 42 RBIs and 37 runs scored. He has 63 hits in 150 at-bats. |
