Swashbucklers Heading to Round 3 Tuesday, May 4th , 2055 The Guadalupe HS Swashbucklers are bound for the Round 3. A 28-18 win over the Calgary HS Swarm at Swashbucklers Grounds ended the Round 2, 4-2. "We're not trying to get ahead of ourselves, but it's hard not to get pumped up and excited and think about how this season could end," said Bobby Delgado. "This could be the biggest celebration Guadalupe HS has ever seen if we can win the Round 3." The state of the FBL High School 1 championship remains in doubt, but the Swashbucklers certainly appear to be strong contenders. Delgado was named MVP of the Round 2 after he posted a .462 batting average, while adding 6 home runs, driving in 14 RBI and scoring 17 runs. The Guadalupe HS Swashbucklers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Chihuahua HS Golden Gophers - Naucalpan HS Bandits series. Chihuahua HS leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes. |
