Peregrines Heading to Round 2 Monday, April 25th , 2050 Billy Bisesi sparked his Edmonton HS Peregrines past the pesky Havana HS Patriots in a closely-contested Round 1. Edmonton HS topped Havana HS 14-2 at Peregrines Park to decide the series, 4-2 For his efforts, Bisesi was rewarded with the series MVP trophy for his .429 batting average, 6 RBIs and 10 runs scored. "You never want to leave anything on the field," Bisesi said. "You never want to miss a play of defense you could have made, or give up an extra base you could have gotten, because in a series this tight you never know what you'll need to win." The Edmonton HS Peregrines will play against the Indianapolis HS Reds in the next round. Indianapolis HS won their series against the Calgary HS Swarm 4 games to 0. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
