Huskies Heading to Round 2 Thursday, April 21st , 2050 With a 13-2 win to wrap up the series at Grand Slam Park, the Zapopan HS Huskies have eliminated the Guadalajara HS Grand Slam in the Round 1 and move on to the Round 2. Zapopan HS controlled the series from the outset and won it in a 4-0 sweep. Alex Aragon led the charge offensively for the victors, winning series MVP honors. He posted a .500 batting average, along with a .550 on-base percentage. He had 6 home runs, drove in 13 RBI and scored 9 runs. "We're not done yet," the MVP said. "There is still a lot to accomplish." The Zapopan HS Huskies don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Columbus HS A's - Aguascalientes HS Attack series. Columbus HS leads the series 3 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
