Jacksonville, Leon Swap Players Monday, June 10th , 2052 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Jacksonville Jackals and the Leon Toltecs have agreed to a deal that will have 23-year old minor league LHP Manny Salinas, 30-year old LHP Mike Ludwig, a 2nd round draft pick, and a 4th round draft pick heading to Leon in exchange for 24-year old C Tyler Halleen, 27-year old 1B Eduardo Renderos, and 19-year old minor league 2B John Hansen. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. At the moment, Halleen is batting .319 with 1 home run and 8 RBIs. He has played in 18 games and scored 8 times. |
