Makos Come up Short of Playoffs Tuesday, July 30th , 2047 David Fields, the manager of the Miami Makos, said his players are "devastated" to have missed the playoffs. Today it became official -- the club has run out of games and was mathematically eliminated from qualifying. Before this season, the Makos last missed the playoffs in 2040. In the 24 years they have been a Federal Baseball League franchise, they have made the playoffs 11 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Makos have made the playoffs 10 times. Miami last won the World Series in 2042. |
