Macias Belts Number 200 Thursday, May 13th , 2055 "I wasn't trying to hit a homer. I just wanted to make contact." That's what Francisco Macias told reporters after he made league history at Wranglers Ballpark. The prolific slugger belted home run #200 in the San Francisco Pioneers 8-6 victory over the Oklahoma City Twisters. The standout third baseman collected 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 2 runs batted in and 1 run scored. "I guess this puts me in baseball's elite," said Macias. "I don't feel any different. I probably should, but I don't. Still, it is a nice achievement. I did get a little excited, didn't I?" Lifetime Macias is hitting .308 and has totaled 200 home runs. View Boxscore View Game Log |
