UL Names Rookie of the Month Saturday, May 1st , 2055 Bewitched, bothered, and bewildered. That was how other clubs felt, when they faced Alfredo Garcia in April, making the Mexico City hurler an easy choice for United Rookie of the Month honors. In 6 starts he breezed to a 5-1 record, racked up 44 strikeouts in 42 innings and posted a 1.71 ERA. Opposing hitters only managed a .161 batting average against him. |
