Center Fielder Nabs IL Rookie Award Saturday, June 1st , 2052 Chicago's Alex Corcoran collected 30 hits to snare the Independent Rookie of the Month for May. He batted .323 with 4 home runs, 22 RBIs and 13 runs scored. The 21-year-old is barely old enough to shave, but he could definitely contend for Rookie of the Year if he keeps up this pace. Corcoran is batting .294 this season in 51 games with 6 home runs, 37 RBIs and 29 runs scored. He has 55 hits in 187 at-bats. |
