Quarterman Twirls No-Hitter Against Toltecs
Is it better to be lucky or good?

After leading the Denver Queens to victory, 6-0, and tossing a no-hitter over the Leon Toltecs, Kenyon Quarterman didn't have the answer.

"I don't know," Quarterman said. "To do what I did today, I'm pretty sure it takes both."

On his big day at Queens Field, Quarterman fanned 7 and had no walks. And it seemed that when the Toltecs managed to hit the ball hard, it went right at a defender.

"That's how you get a no-hitter," Quarterman said with a smile. "A lot of skill mixed with a little luck."
