|
Dallas Jets starter Luis Vega pitched a strong game against the Mexico City Marauders at Marauders Field, leading the Jets to victory, 5-2. The Marauders , now 6-10, continue their inauspicious start.
Dallas used the timely hitting of Chris Lightfoot to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Jets on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said Lightfoot.
