Araujo Schools Tampa Bay in 4-3 Chicago Triumph
|
Bobby Araujo was superb against Tampa Bay. The right-hander, who finished 3rd in the IL in wins with 11 in 2052, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Hawks victory. The score was 4-3. With the win, Chicago upped its record to 25-11.
In his 102-pitch effort, Araujo allowed 1 run on 2 hits over 7.1 innings. He walked 2 and struck out 9.
"I was the aggressor," said Araujo. "No doubt about it."
