Robbers Upend Arsenal, 5-2
|
Though he had a stellar game, Matt Conrad could not prevent his team, the Arlington Arsenal, from losing, 5-2, to the Toronto Robbers. Conrad hit 2 home runs. The first-place Robbers have won 4 in a row.
Armando Duran helped out the Toronto cause in the top of the first inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the third baseman drove in one run.
Duran attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
