McKee Lifts Peaches to 11-4 Triumph
|
The Atlanta Peaches downed the Houston Rangers, 11-4. The hitting star was third baseman Dan McKee. McKee went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 4 for the Peaches. Jim Mathews was the winner. Over 7 innings, he yielded 4 runs on 8 hits, with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts. The losses continue to pile up for Houston, which has now fallen 10 times in a row.
