Dallas Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Dallas Jets handed the Oklahoma City Twisters a loss at Jets Field. The final score was 7-6. Mike Parrish was one of the major contributors for Dallas. In addition to his 1 single and 2 home runs, he scored 2 runs and drove in 7. The Jets saw their win-loss record go to 28-34. At the same time, the Twisters fell to 17-45.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Dallas trailing 6-3, Parrish jumped on a fastball from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Newt Dooley and hit a grand slam home run to left. With one swing, the Jets had a walk-off win.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Parrish told the Dallas Times.
