Starting pitcher Matt Nesbitt pitched well enough to help the Mexico City Marauders beat the Dallas Jets, 5-4. Mexico City reliever Leo Morris picked up the win, upping his record to 4-0. Carlos Becerra took the loss. John Whelan closed it out for Mexico City, earning his 15th save.

Montreal, Canada-born Don Linfoot came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the eighth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Marauders trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run single to center to put Mexico City on top.

"We were the better team," crowed Linfoot.

The Mexico City win streak is now 3 games.
