Hudson Valley's McOwen to Miss Season Friday, July 26th , 2047 The season is ending on a bad note for Matt McOwen, reliever for the Hudson Valley Hornets. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. McOwen was hurt against the Cedar Point Blue Wahoos while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and will be out for at least 9-10 months. This season, McOwen has made 7 relief appearances with 1 save. In 7 innings he has fanned 5 hitters and recorded no wins and 1 loss with a 10.29 ERA. |
