Big Day with Bat: Delgado 5-for-5 Friday, April 15th , 2050 It was a big day for Hector Delgado and he brought the Hermosillo College Triplets along for the ride. Delgado led his club to victory, 18-6, over the Mixco College Orange Kings at Hermosillo College Stadium, smoking Mixco College pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The 18-year-old first baseman later called the victory "sweet." Hector Delgado singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Jose Perez in the 4th, singled in the 5th and singled in the 6th. So far this season, Delgado has hit .422 with 18 home runs, 52 RBIs and scored 59 times. |
