Stout 5-for-6 for Brooklyn College Wednesday, April 13th , 2050 It was a parade of hits for Matt Stout of the Brooklyn College Destroyers at Hermosillo College Stadium. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Stout finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Destroyers to a win, 18-3. "Stout was really good and we were really bad," groaned Triplets manager . "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Matt Stout flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Greg Sanchez in the 9th. This year, Stout is batting .281 with 38 hits and 2 home runs. He has scored 32 times and has batted in 28 runs. |
