Hit Streak for Ocampo Reaches 20 Sunday, April 10th , 2050 Chalk up another one for Mexico City College Skeeters right fielder Jose Ocampo. He now has hit in 20 straight games. Ocampo went 3-for-4 in today's game at River Bats Stadium but saw his club defeated, 23-8, by the host Chicago College River Bats. "Playing on the road always makes it harder to get hits and to get wins," Skeeters manager said after the game. "We got one of the two, but unfortunately it was the wrong one." Jose Ocampo grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and hit an RBI double in the 6th. This season, Ocampo is batting .418 with 61 hits and 7 home runs. He has scored 42 times and has 35 RBI. |
