Griego Has 20-Game Hitting Streak Thursday, April 21st , 2050 Andres Griego has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Cancún College first baseman picked up 1 more today against the Hermosillo College Triplets and now has a 20-game hitting streak. The Bucs won the game, 9-0. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Andres Griego flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. Griego is batting .381 with 19 home runs and 49 RBIs this season. |
