Foresters Chill Larsen Hot Streak Sunday, April 10th , 2050 Lady Luck was not on the side of Jeff Larsen or his teammates at Victory Park. Everything went the way of the Matamoros HS Foresters, who not only came away with the 8-6 victory over Kansas City HS, but also held Larsen hitless in 5 at-bats to put an end to his 26-game hitting streak. "It was a good run," Larsen said afterward. "It would be much easier to take right now if we had won." Currently Larsen has 12 home runs and a .388 batting average. |
