Verdier Slams 5 Hits for Port-au-Prince HS Sunday, April 10th , 2050 Éric Verdier was on fire, sparking his club to a win, 17-14, over the Zips. The Port-au-Prince HS second baseman was a tough out and went 5-for-6 against Toledo HS in a fine hitting display. "I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody and some days they fall in." Éric Verdier doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th.
