Izzy Silva Out of Lineup 4-5 Months Saturday, April 23rd , 2050 Playoff hopes of River Kings player Izzy Silva have been dealt a blow today after tests revealed the reliever suffered an arthritic elbow throwing a pitch in today's game against Charlotte HS Thunder Cats. Silva is expected to miss up to 4-5 months, effectively ruling him out of the playoffs. Silva's record up to now is 3-and-0 with no saves and a 6.75 ERA. He has given up 18 hits in 18.2 innings with 14 strikeouts. |
