Indianapolis HS Sweeps into the Round 2 Thursday, April 21st , 2050 The Indianapolis HS Shamrocks proved to be too much to handle for the Wichita HS Diamondbacks in the Round 1, and a sweep was the end result. Indianapolis HS punched its ticket to the Round 2 on the strength of a 10-2 win in the deciding game, which wrapped up the series 4-0. Indianapolis HS third baseman Aaron Hendrix, named series MVP, was instrumental in the sweep, as he mashed Wichita HS pitching to the tune of a .353 average, with a .368 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 12 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Indianapolis HS Shamrocks don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Ixtapaluca HS Irish - Toledo HS Zips series. Toledo HS leads the series 3 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
